Journey to the West · Iron Fan Princess
In the ancient myth, Princess Iron Fan wielded a fan that could move mountains and silence storms. She was not a villain — she was a woman who refused to be controlled. These earrings carry her spirit: quiet power, deliberate grace, and the kind of beauty that doesn't ask for permission.
Wear them as a reminder that you, too, are the force of nature in your own story.
— One piece. One legend.
Intangible Cultural Heritage · Hepu Horn Carving

Hepu horn carving originated along the ancient Maritime Silk Road in Guangxi, China. Recognised as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, its masters are known for carving translucent natural horn into scenes of breathtaking delicacy — shrimp, crabs, lotus flowers — each piece a testament to patience and precision.
The craft has been passed down through fewer than 30 living masters. Every pair of Iron Fan Whisper Earrings is a direct continuation of this 2,000-year lineage.

No machines. No shortcuts.
Each earring is carved entirely by hand — a process that takes days, not minutes. The artisan selects a single piece of natural horn, studies its grain and translucency, then carves the design freehand using tools unchanged for centuries.
Because no two horns are identical, no two pairs of earrings are ever exactly alike. What you receive is not a product. It is a singular object that exists nowhere else on earth.

Origin · 206 BC — Present
Over two millennia ago, merchants travelling the Maritime Silk Road through Hepu carried carved horn ornaments as currency and gifts. The craft absorbed influences from across Asia, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean — a living archive of cultural exchange carved into natural material.
Today, COOCOZY works directly with heritage-certified artisans in Hepu to ensure every piece honours this history while speaking to the modern woman who wears it.

As worn
The earrings sit light against the neck — 8g each — yet command attention the moment they catch the light. The translucent horn glows amber-ivory in sunlight, deep cream in candlelight. Pair them with a linen shirt or an evening gown. They belong in both worlds.

Detail
Under close inspection, the carving reveals a scene from the legend — swirling wind, a fan in motion, the suggestion of mountains. The 925 sterling silver connector is hand-polished to a soft satin finish, complementing the organic warmth of the horn without competing with it.
Materials & Specifications

Each piece is unique. Natural horn may show slight variations in tone and grain — this is not a flaw. It is proof of authenticity.
